My Summary
About Me
I am an experienced nanny with over a decade of hands-on experience across London, Ibiza, and Germany. Drawing on my academic background in Psychology and Health Psychology, I offer developmental and neurodiversity-informed childcare. This means I create age-appropriate activities, maintain consistent routines, and calmly handle emotional or behavioral challenges. My multilingual abilities in German, English, and Spanish, along with an artistic flair, help me provide fun, engaging learning experiences—whether teaching life skills like swimming or cycling or supporting busy family routines. Residing in South Kensington, I am accessible for both short-term and long-term roles.
My Experience
Over the years, I have worked with children from ages two to adolescence, including those with autism and speech delays - gaining practical expertise in managing diverse developmental needs and family structures. My approach is empathetic and evidence-based, guided by developmental psychology principles. I have become an integral part of several families, even witnessing special moments like parents’ weddings. Whether it is fostering continuity in an atypical schedule or offering enriched developmental support, I aim to empower children to thrive and grow. I am now seeking a family that values reliable, well-qualified childcare and appreciates the added benefits of my academic and multicultural background.
My Qualifications
• Over 10 years of childcare experience across London, Ibiza, and Germany, working with ages 3 to adolescence
• Private Nanny roles for multiple families, including (but not limited to):
– Two boys on the autism spectrum (helped manage emotional regulation, daily routines, and tailored learning)
– A multicultural household with rotating schedules, where I coordinated consistent discipline and resolved continuity issues
– Seasonal nanny work in Ibiza, providing short-term/holiday care for families seeking flexible, reliable support
• Three-month placement as a Child-Care Worker in a German Kindergarten, observing professional diagnostic methods for early learning difficulties
• Academic foundation in Psychology (BSc, 2:1 Honours) and currently pursuing an MSc in Health Psychology
• Authored neurodiversity-focused educational materials at King’s College London, deepening my knowledge of developmental and neurodiverse needs
• Pediatric First Aid certified, enhanced DBS check in progress
• Trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Essentials
• Familiarity with data protection and Good Clinical Practice (NIHR) through eLearning certifications
• Skilled in designing age-appropriate routines, maintaining consistency for atypical family structures, and employing creative approaches (arts, swimming, outdoor activities)
• Multilingual in German (native), English (native-level), and Spanish (conversational), enabling strong communication and cultural adaptability
My Availability
I am currently part of a research project at King's College Hospital, and so will need to dedicate part of my week there. My schedule, however, is not set in stone and I am able to flexibly arrange my time around potential childcare hours. Whilst I indicate a very open schedule, my availability is subject to change depending on weekly demands at either childcare or research project domains.
To clarify, I am very flexible in my schedule, however not available for a complete fulltime position due to commitments to another project until August.
