Hey everyone!
I'm a 41 year old and live with my husband and 5 year old son. I also have a step-daughter who's 25 years old and lives in Newcastle.
I've worked within childcare for around 15 years now, so I have a lot of experience with up to 5 year olds within a professional setting.
Speaking from first-hand experience, I know childcare can become hard work, especially when you want to get back to work, so I wanted to be able to take some of that pressure away by offering to help out!

My Experience
Roughly 15 years ago, I decided I wanted to do something different, I always wanted children of my own and loved the idea of helping to teach these little human beings to flourish. I started with my level 2 and doing lots of work experience, then went onto level 3 whilst working within childcare and learnt a lot along the way. I've always done the in-house training within these roles and experienced all different types of learning and development.
Now I have my own little miracle boy. we went through IVF, and he ended up entering the world 2 months early, so it was a tough time, but we made it, and he was happy and healthy. Since he was born, I was made furlough from my job at the time ( Covid) and spent alot of time wanted to be with my son and use my experience to help develop on his skills to give him the best outcome. He missed out a lot through the covid times, so it was important to still try and develop his social skills without being around others.
I want to be able to do this for other children, it's not just about a job, it's about spending time with the children and helping them learn along the way.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE level 3 diploma in childcare,
I have completed a Level 2 understanding in autism course and done lots of in house training within the childcare sector such as first aid and safeguarding.
