My Requirements

We are looking for a part time nanny-housekeeper to start immediately. We have two young boys: a toddler (2 yrs, M) who attends nursery full time and a baby (8 months, M). Ideally, we are looking for someone who is available from approx 4.30pm until 8pm on weekdays (number of days per week is flexible) to help perform light domestic duties and be an extra pair of hands with the children. For example:

- tidying away the children's toys
- tidying and light cleaning of the kitchen, including loading/emptying the dishwasher
- putting away clean laundry
- watering the outside flower beds with the garden hose
- potentially assistance with the nursery collection, either by collecting the toddler (walking distance) or staying at home with the baby
- playing with the baby or toddler
- feeding the baby his bottle or baby food, or serving the toddler dinner (pre-made, no cooking required!)
- helping put the boys to bed

Other than if you help with a child during the nursery run, I would always be present so this is "a mother's help" type role not a 'sole charge' nannying job. The list is just an illustrative list of the types of tasks we imagine you could help with, and it would not be expected to do all of these in a visit. We also do not expect multitasking- i.e. if you are looking after a child you wouldn't be expected to tidy up at the same time!

We live in Newnham, CB3 9, in an area with easy parking, close to various bus stops and near a voi scooter/bike station(!). We don't have any pets.
