Hi! I’m Pareesa :) I’ve always loved working with children as there’s something so special about helping them grow, learn and feel safe. I’m calm, caring, and always try to remain patient and kind. I enjoy having playtime and story time with little ones and I’m here to support both them and their families in the best way I can.
My Experience
I’ve always enjoyed working with children and supporting their learning and development. I’ve gained experience through mentoring younger students at school, helping my younger siblings and cousins with their studies and volunteering in both care and medical settings. I’m patient, adaptable and I enjoy finding ways to explain things clearly and creatively. I can help with homework as well as aid them in building confidence. I can also just be someone they feel comfortable around. I always try to bring a calm and encouraging presence.
My Qualifications
I’m currently studying Clinical Psychology at the University of Kent and have A-levels in Biology (B), Chemistry (A), and English Language (B). I’ve previously obtained two DBS checks—one for volunteering in a care home and another during the process of applying to study Medicine at Queen Mary. I also have experience supporting younger children with schoolwork and mentoring students, which has helped me build strong communication and organisational skills. I’m happy to complete an updated DBS check if needed.
