Hi everyone, I'm Sarah a registered child minder from cuxton i am 35 years old with 4 children of my own aged 1 ,14,15!and 19 I have a lovely 5 bedroom detached house with 2.5 large dedicated childminding room for sleeping and playing and a very large garden. I have been a registered childminder since 2002 and have looked after children and babies from newborn to 15 years old! I am ofsted registered, crb checked, first aid trained and have very good references as well as a level 3 childcare diploma, I have a clean driving license and drive a 7 seater. I also employ 3 assistants so we are able to offer flexibility and give each child in our care the help and attention they need. My assistant holds a level 3 diploma in childcare and has previously worked in a nursery but decided to work as a childminder and holds all the ubove. We both hold a unit 1 diploma in home based child care and I myself hold an introduction to child minding certificate. I work along side the early years register and work with your child and do observations and planning like a nursery. I offer daily diaries so you know what your child has achieved each day. I offer a wide range of activities :
Under 1s - baby walkers, high chairs, play gym, soft play mat, push chairs including a double, rattles, teething rings, books, soft toys, steering wheels, stacking cups, musical toys, soft stacking rings, and lots more

Under 5s
Train sets, car sets, puzzles, paints, play dough, easel, pencils, pens, magnetic letters and board, dressing up out fits, cash machine, work bench with very realistic tools, soft toys, walking barking dog, remote control car and plane, guitars, drum, piano, bricks and brick table, board games and lots more!

Over 5s
Pool, football and air hockey table, train and car sets, board games, instruments, skittles, computers which are limited to 30minutes - Ds, playstation, nintendo 64. I also have the Internet for home work with parental permission. And lots more!

Outdoor play
14ft trampoline, toddler trampoline, play house, gardening equipment, sand and water table, activity cube, hula hoop, paddling pool, slide, ride on cars, scooters, bikes, and lots more!!

I have 3 dedicated play rooms and 2 overnight care bedrooms, I offer daytime care and overnight care!!!
I am also able to accept child care vouchers.

I encourage all children to help with day to day things like laying the table, giving ideas on meals and activities, tidying up and sometimes light duties to make them feel and know they are important.

I also take my mindees on trips to parks, libraries, children's centre activities, beaches , farms, bowling, and other fun trips .

We do baking, gluing and sticking, painting, chalking and lots more and celebrate different cultures and festivals including trying new foods from around the world and making things to learn and remember about all back grounds.


During the holidays we try to do trips on a daily basis! I do not charge extra for trips during holidays.
