My Requirements

I'm looking for a nanny to care for my 23-month-old son, 3 days a week, Mon,Thur and Fri, from 7:30 AM to 17:30 PM. I’ll be starting a full-time clinical placement on the 21st of July, so we’re looking for someone to join us quite soon. This change has come up a bit suddenly, and as a single mum, having the right support is really important to me. The position will likely be needed until around September, as my son is due to start nursery then.
The ideal candidate would enjoy taking my child to the park and forest, engaging in outdoor activities, and helping to foster his appreciation for nature and wildlife. It would be a plus if you spoke at least one additional language besides English and were enthusiastic about incorporating this into daily activities to help develop his skills (such as, Italian or French). Additionally, I would appreciate someone willing to visit the library and participate in stay-and-play groups. Someone who is calm and loving, who would show empathy because I believe kids need to be heard, understood, acknowledged, and supported if they are to learn how to deal with their own emotions because feelings are not to be ignored but rather opportunities for connection and growth. You won’t necessarily need to cook, as I’ll handle meal preparation and make sure he has healthy snacks
