About Me
My name is Amelie Mellor, I am a university student looking for babysitting/childcare jobs while home, in north London, over Easter and a very long summer (you’d be suprised at how little time at university you get for the price). I love animals and welcome any pets, and would love to give your dogs a walk if you need. I am also available for maths tutoring, which I have done maths and further maths at both gcse and a level. My Experience
Although I am young, at 19 years old, I’ve had lots of experience with babysitting. Through having a younger sister, 6 years younger, I have always been comfortable and confident in caring responsibilities for kids. I have cared for many families with kids and special needs children ranging from the ages of newborn to 15. Being young, at 19 years old, I understand how to be fun and engaging. I love to learn and teach new games, engage in art activities and am happy to take children out to play in parks. I also have experience in tutoring, in which I’ve helped with mandarin homework, maths gcse and ks2 maths. So when it comes to helping with homework I am always keen and patient to be of hand. I understand that your children’s safety is always a priority and can provide recommendations for reassurance.
My Qualifications
I hold both gcse and a level qualifications. I’ve also learnt piano up to grade 7, so am more than happy to help early learners, yet I must admit I am very rusty. Currently I am studying economics and Chinese at the university at Leeds. Being at university I am yet to find the time (or money) to complete an early years practitioner qualification unfortunately.
My Availability
During my time back from university, in Leeds, I am available at all times during the week. I have the whole of April off for Easter holidays and finish university beginning of May, with my last exam around June. So very available, especially during the summer.
