About Me
I aim to provide a welcoming yet engaging childcare experience bespoke to each child and the needs of them and their family. From casual babysitting to regular afterschool support, I am motivated and willing to help around the house, engage, educate and entertain children, and do anything else you may require, that works around your schedule.
By offering a variety of personalised activities, including outdoor activities, reading, chatting, tutoring, I aim to encourage confidence and social development through enjoyable pursuits. Obviously my priority is your child's safety and wellbeing, through following all appropriate safeguarding and safety measures at all times, including acommodating any dietary needs or routines when preparing snacks or meals as well as any extra measures required to ensure the maximal wellbeing of your child.
Overall, my principal aim is to develop a supportive and nurturing environment where not only children feel happy and secure, but as parents you feel extremely confident leaving your little ones in safe hands!!

My Experience
By volunteering with my local Brownies for 5 years, I have experience dealing with children from 7-11 years, and by connecting with them and helping them to individually develop their confidence and personality, I've learnt the importance of communication and empathy. Throughout the last 4 years I've also dont regular babysitting both on a regular and occasional basis, as well as tutoring from year 7 to GCSE level where my experience included -
- helping with homework and educational play
- managing routines eg nap times and bedtime
- school / nursery pickups and drop-offs
- preparing meals and snacks
- developing engaging and stimulating activities personalised to each child's age and interests
My Qualifications
Although I have no specific qualifications as such, I have the following which have provided me with invaluable skills and experience -
- 5 yrs volunteering at Brownies
- first aid enrichment course
- volunteering course with St. Johns ambulance
- currently completing degree in Neuroscience with French
