My Summary

My Experience

I worked at a summer camp for children experiencing homelessness for six seasons, where I assisted in childcare as well as developing social-emotional skills and English and Maths literacy. I have also worked as a dance aid with Special Olympics where I helped children with special needs engage in dance and developing their mobility. Through high school I babysat for various families. I spent one summer in my undergrad nannying for a newborn infant.

My most recent childcare experience was during my gap year where I worked as a personal care assistance for a non-verbal young girl with advanced needs. In this role I was responsible for school pickups and drop-offs, meal prep, cleaning and tidying the home, as well as managing medical device changes, prescription schedules, and coordinating with physical, occupational, and speech therapists.

My Qualifications

AED, Basic Life Support, CPR certified (Infant, Child, Adult)

My Availability

I have class 10:00-12:00 Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and a class 16:00-17:00 on Thursdays, however this will not be a commitment during the summer months.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
