About Me

Hello, I’m Anna Mancari, a qualified Early Years Practitioner. My setting offers a warm, home-from-home environment where children are free to grow, learn and play at their own pace, surrounded by love, laughter, and a sprinkle of everyday magic.

At the heart of our days is a deep connection to nature. Whether we’re planting seeds, chasing butterflies, spotting bugs, or reading stories under the twinkle tree, the garden is our playground — a place where imagination blooms and every season brings something new to explore. We splash in puddles, dig in the mud, and embrace the joy of the great outdoors in all weather.

My setting is built on values of kindness, emotional wellbeing, and child-led learning. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, heard, and respected. That’s why I nurture each child’s unique personality, interests, and pace — offering gentle guidance, cuddles when needed, and plenty of time for free play and creativity.

Rooted in my Italian heritage, I have a huge passion for wholesome, home-cooked food. Cooking is woven into our days — we knead bread dough, roll fresh pasta, and prepare simple meals together, turning everyday routines into rich learning experiences. I also speak French, Italian and German, and I love sprinkling in songs, phrases, and playful language moments to help children discover the sounds of other cultures.

Inside, our days are filled with stories, songs, music, dancing, role play, and crafting — whether we’re painting magical creatures, building fairy houses, or simply listening to the rain at the window. Every activity is thoughtfully chosen to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and most of all — make childhood joyful.

I follow the EYFS framework and am fully registered with 'tiney' an Ofsted approved & quality assured childminding agency, completed their vigorous training and inspections, which include paediatric first-aid, and participate frequently to their continuous training programmes, to expand and grow further personally and professionally, I am eager to start my new journey as a childminder and I am dedicated to giving every child in my care a magical, meaningful start in life.

Important to note, I am currently not set up for funded LA placements, this is a work in progress.
