About Me
Hi I am Laura! I have been working with children for the past 15 years. I'm an Ofsted registered childminder with availability from September 2025. I provide childcare Mon- Thurs all year round from 7:30am-5:30pm ( excluding bank holidays and 6 weeks holiday throughout the year).
I live at home with my Husband and 8 year old twins and we added a furry friend to our family last year; an 8-month-old Red Fox Labrador named Toffee who loves to play! He is very well behaved and gentle around children!
I live on the outskirts of Peterborough City Centre with good links to Werrington, Glinton, Peakirk and surrounding areas, as well as being located on a road that is a through route for the City Centre.
My Experience
I started my career by working in a day nursery, before moving onto to becoming a Teaching Assistant in a local primary school in Peterborough. Whilst working I completed my degree in Primary Teaching and achieved Qualified Teacher Status alongside my First Class Honours Degree. I have taught in Primary and Infant schools since 2018 and achieved a leadership role in my last post. I have led curriculum subjects such as computing and Mathematics and was part of a strategic group that supported Phonics across the school. As much as I am enjoying the flexibility and more time with my own children, my passion for children’s learning and development led me to train and register as a Childminder.
My Qualifications
? Bachelor of Arts in Primary Teaching with Qualified Teacher Status

? Paediatric First Aid (Updated every 3 three years)

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Invoices will be sent out at the end of the month and you will pay for the hours your child has attended the previous month. I will not charge if I am on holiday or sick. Normal charges will apply if your child is off poorly, or you are on holiday.
