About Me
Hello! I am happy to say that I have enjoyed over 13 years of caring for children from infants to teens. Originally from America, I moved to England three years ago to be closer to my mum's side of the family. I visited the UK often growing up and knew early on that it would be my home one day. I lived in London for a few years before moving to the countryside to be closer to the solitude of nature. Creativity and authentic expression are important to me and help me to lead a purpose-driven life. I am a transformational coach and also facilitate group spaces, helping people to reclaim their authenticity and share their unique gifts with the world. When it comes to creative expression, I feel children have so much to teach us adults, which is why I love being a nanny alongside my other work and helping to create the space for children to be themselves and explore the world. When I am not coaching or taking care of children, you can find me reading, dancing, cooking healthy meals, exploring the beautiful countryside, singing and writing music, or sat round a fire or in a sauna with friends.
My Experience
I began babysitting over 13 years ago and quickly discovered how much joy and meaning I find in being with children. I’m continually inspired by their curiosity, creativity, and unique personalities, and I love building strong, trusting relationships that help them feel safe, seen, and supported. Over the years, my responsibilities and experience have grown as I moved into more long-term nanny roles where I’ve had the privilege of nurturing children through various stages of development.
I’ve worked alongside many families to provide attentive care tailored to each child’s needs. My experience includes caring for all ages including infants, creating and maintaining nap routines, preparing and planning nutritious meals, handling scheduling and daily activities, taking children to doctors’ appointments, administering medication, and offering emotional support. I also love spending time outdoors with the children I care for, and nature has always been a big part of our time together. I have some experience supporting children with special needs, including autism, ADHD, and dyspraxia.
Most recently, I cared for a little boy in London from the age of 6 months to just over 2 years. It was an amazing role in which I developed a deep bond with him and his family. Although I moved to the countryside in September 2024 and was sad to say goodbye, I still visit often. Before that, I worked as an after-school nanny for two children, ages 4 and 7, also in London. I’m happy to share a full childcare resume with interested families.
My Qualifications
My CPR and First Aid certification is up to date.
My last DBS check was in September 2022 and I am happy to have this updated.
My Availability
At the moment I am looking for a part-time childcare role between 15 and 25 hours per week in Falmouth. I am open to any type of schedule and happy to care for any age. A role that involves driving would not be suitable as I am studying to take my manual driving test.
