About Me
I am 21 years old, looking for a role whereby I can provide support to and for families in need. When I was younger, sacrifices were made in order for my parents to make a living, i know firsthand how hard it is for parents to live their own lives and work but also needing to provide care and support for their children. I’m here to make that a little easier. I am great with children due to my experience with them, I have 2 beautiful nephews and my heart is full of love for them, not just because they are family but because children deserve the opportunity to receive adequate time and attention, doing things they enjoy because they are only children once, and in that same breath, for all of us, this is our first experience of life so we deserve grace.
My Experience
I have worked as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities so I also know and understand certain behaviours that may also be associated with children. Although I have not directly worked with children professionally, I know that my past placement experiences will come in handy. My DBS is up to date and without flaw. I am a student studying occupational therapy, this allows me to have a holistic view of everyone I work with, striving to understand them and working towards bettering their occupational engagement.

I am diligent and hardworking, seeking to further develop interpersonal skills and friendly attitude to build long lasting connections with the clients I will come across. I currently study Occupational therapy. Having been a part of my school council, I have acquired the responsibility of having to juggle multiple tasks at once and feel this will help me in any job I receive.
