About Me
I am a 30 year old living in Frome after relocating from Bristol. I have always found working with children a joy, as I am a naturally playful, creative and calm person. I spent many summers volenteering at skill camps with children, and would be happy to share skills in music, sports and arts all of which I am confident in. I have taught children to play piano, to skateboard and run craft sessions at the nursery I currently work in. I love to be outside, or to find fun activities that suit the childrens needs. I am trustworthy with a full DBS check, and pride myself in being a reliable and amicable person.
My Experience
Hello! I am currently living in Frome, working as a Nursery Assistant. I have many years of experience doing nanny work for friends where applicable during COVID. I then went on to volenteer with children with special needs, and after moving to Frome i joined the Nursery agency. I have experience working with children from as young as 16months up to young adults. Whilst i do not have qualifications in childcare, I have plenty of lived experience taking care of my brother who is autistic, so I feel confident in my abilities. I have also spent my summers for the last few years volenteering as a skate coach for children between the ages of 4 and 16, which was a fantastic experience in understanding individual childrens needs, and was thrilling to see them explore new talents and achieve their goals!
