My Experience

I’ve been working in childcare since 2016 with experience caring for children of all ages from infants to teenagers. I also study children’s development and education in Germany, which provided me with a strong foundation in child psychology, l learning to play and age-appropriate care. On top of that I am the second oldest of 8 children so always helped out with my siblings since a young age.
For the past 3 1/2 years I’ve been with a wonderful family caring for their four children who are now 14, 12, 8 and 3 1/2 years old. Doing this time I’ve been treated like a family member which allowed me to build a deep, trusting relationship with both the children and the parents. I supported their daily routines, school and activity schedules and created a nurturing environment where each child feel safe, engaged and supported.
My responsibility have included everything from diaper changes, feeding, BLW, potty training and toddler development to school pick ups, homework help and meal prep. I’ve also travelled frequently with the family providing consistent care to both short and extended trips (overseas and within the EU).
This role will be coming to an end in early July as the families needs have changed and I’m now looking forward to becoming a valued part of a new family where I can bring the same level of care, experience and dedication.

My Qualifications

I’ve been working in childcare for nine years and through my studies in children’s development and education in Germany, I’ve gained a strong understanding of how to support kids in the growth emotionally, socially and intellectually. I’m a native German speaker and also speak fluent English.
I’m organised and always strive to create a warm, respectful environment where children feel safe, seen and encouraged. I’m especially drawn to Montessori principles and gentle parenting approaches with clear but simple boundaries -mainly focus on safety and mutual respect.
While I don’t drive yet I plan to begin learning towards the end of the year. In the meantime I’m very comfortable using public transportation and I’ve had no trouble getting to and from schools, activities or appointments.

My Availability

I’m available to start mid July and can work full-time from Monday to Friday during the day. I’m flexible with hours and opened for both, live in and live out arrangements. I’m also happy to help with occasional babysitting when needed. I just kindly ask that any extra hours outside the contract should be compensated accordingly. I’m happy to discuss that further.

My Fees

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

My rates are based on experience, responsibilities and the number of children and care. I’m happy to discuss a fair hourly and salaried rate that reflects the needs of your family. Extra hours outside of the agreed schedule, such as evening babysitting or weekend work will be charged additionally. I’m open to discussing details further and finding an arrangement that works well for both sides.
