About Me
Hello. We are a Japanese/French family of four, Akiko, Yohan, Emily (5) and Lina (2), recently moved from Brooklyn, NY to London. We also have a pet cat, Mimo. Mimo is a very chill cat who mostly sleeps. Emily and Lina love to draw and play together. Lina loves to copy everything that her big sister does, and Emily is a great mentor to her. Emily loves story time and we have a plethora of books in English, French and Japanese. Emily is starting to read and gets very excited when she can read a few lines on her own. Lina will listen in most of the time, but if the story is too long she’ll wander off to play on her own. Both can be fairly indépendant.
My Requirements
As both Yohan and I need to be in the office early until late, we are looking for a drop off and pick up nanny. Lina’s daycare and Emily’s school are about a 7 minute walk from each other and takes about 20 min door to door from our flat.
Mornings - Arrive by 7am to get the kids ready for school. This entails getting them dressed, feeding them breakfast, packing Emily’s snack and water bottle. Leave around 7:50am to catch the 24 bus to school. Emily must be at school by 8:40am (doors open at 8:25am), Lina’s daycare is open at 8am.
Afternoons - Pick up the girls around 5:30pm. (Lina’s daycare closes at 6pm and Emily’s at 6:30pm.). I usually try get the girls home by 6pm as otherwise they are tired and starving. We might ask for light dinner prep (heating up left overs or cooking some pasta) and some homework help for Emily. Yohan and or I will be home at 6:30pm for bath and bedtime.
