Hello! My name is Rosie and I am a qualified social worker with over 8 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings including family support, nurseries, swimming teaching, child protection and fostering. I am passionate about child-focussed practice and am able to build strong relationships with children and young people by focussing on their individual needs and interests. I am flexible in the support I can offer whether this means simply offering a helping hand, supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, setting up stimulating activities, engaging children in learning and homework, or helping to establish clear routines and boundaries!
My Experience
I hold a Social Work BA Honors Degree and have over eight years experience working with children, young people and their families within a variety of different settings includingnursery settings, babysitting, swimming teaching, family support, child protection and safeguarding and fostering. I have extensive experience of supporting children and young people who have complex needs such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, and young offenders. Furthermore, I have experience within a Family Support Worker role of offering direct emotional and learning support to children and young people with life-threatening and terminal illnesses.

Psychology and Sociology A-Levels
10 GCSE's including Maths and English

I am availble Monday- Thursday from morning- evening. I have weekend availability if scheduled in advance.
