My Summary
About Me
I’m an energetic and dedicated individual with a real passion for working with children. I’ve always loved being active—whether it’s playing netball, going for a run, or getting involved in team sports—and I enjoy bringing that same enthusiasm and energy into the work I do with young people.
Building strong, supportive relationships with children comes naturally to me, and I take pride in creating positive, engaging environments where they can feel confident, happy, and safe. I'm a hard worker who approaches every role with commitment, reliability, and care. Whether I’m helping with homework, organising a game, or simply spending time listening and supporting, I give my full attention to making a meaningful difference in children’s daily lives.
My Experience
I am currently completing my PGCE at the University of Cambridge, specialising in Primary Education, and hold a First Class Honours degree in Education from the University of Bristol. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in child development, learning theory, and effective behaviour management strategies.
As part of my teacher training, I have gained some experience in Early Years settings, where I developed a good working understanding of the Early Learning Goals and how to support young children’s development through play-based and child-centred approaches. I enjoy fostering curiosity and creativity in younger children, helping them grow in confidence and independence.
Outside the classroom, I have worked with children since the age of 15, coaching netball for ages 6 to 14. This long-standing involvement has strengthened my skills in communication, patience, and building trusting relationships with children and families. It has also helped me create engaging, active environments where children thrive emotionally, socially, and physically.
I bring a calm, caring, and organised approach to nannying, with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting each child’s unique needs and interests.
My Qualifications
I hold a First Class degree in Education from the University of Bristol and am currently finishing my PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Cambridge. I am paediatric first aid trained and have extensive experience coaching netball to children aged 6 to 14.
My Availability
I am currently completing my PGCE, which finishes at the end of June. I am available to work from now until the end of August, except for one week in August when I will be unavailable. After September 1st, I will be starting my first teaching position and will no longer be available for nannying.
