My Summary
About Me
Living in the in the west end of Barry with my husband and our two children (all DBS checked), I am ideally located to the beach, parks and the Knap. I regularly make use of these wonderful local areas to enrich the children’s daily experiences and learning. We also attend local activities such as rhyme and sign sessions at the library, playgroups and soft play centres. I enjoy taking the children on outings to places like local farms, Cardiff Bay, and St Fagans, helping to broaden their horizons in fun and engaging ways.
My approach
I promote positive behaviour and encourage children to be kind, respectful, and considerate of others. My aim is to create a stimulating, safe and happy environment where children can flourish and reach their full potential - socially, physically and emotionally.
By tailoring activities to each child’s individual needs and development, I offer a mix of adult-led and child-initiated play. My goal is to teach children how to think and not what to think - fostering curiosity, independence and a life long love of learning.
My setting
I offer a warm and welcoming home environment, with dedicated sleeping area and a spacious living room for play. My kitchen doubles as a creative space for crafts, messy play and baking activities.
Outdoors I have an enclosed rear garden, equipped with a slide, ride-on-toys, mud kitchen, sand and water play as well as balls and hoops - providing plenty of opportunities for physical activity and imaginative play.

I work closely with the parents to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met, offering consistent communication and collaborative approach to care. My aim is to always provide a supportive, engaging and loving environment that encourages children’s development and wellbeing.
