About Me
I am currently studying BSc Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, with an additional interest in physics and philosophy. I am very passionate about my subject, and think it can be a fun and genuinely fullfilling area.
I have a younger sibling, and have taken interest in her academic life, and I really do want the next generation of students to do well and actually enjoy going into university or work.
Overall, I'm looking for a little extra cash on the side, and think tutoring is a good way to utilise my current skills and expertise for something I wish to improve.
My Experience
I have experience working with young people of all ages in various settings, including secondary age students.
High school roles included being a drama ambassador, a pupil parliament member, a prefect and a Mentor in Violence Prevention. All involved working with younger years and improving the school environment. I also took a Level 7 Young STEM Leaders course, which consisted of a small research project in various educational methods in different science classes.
I have worked at a soft play and adventure park, where I oversaw childrens activities and made sure things were running smoothly and tidy. I also volunteered with Imaginate, a Children's Theatre Festival.
My Qualifications
Recieved 6 As at Higher (including maths, physics and drama) and 2 As at Advanced Higher (including maths and physics). Passed Young STEM Leaders
