My Experience

Over the past four years, I have gained extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings. I began as a tutor, supporting children of different ages and academic levels, helping them build confidence and improve their learning outcomes. My work gradually expanded to include children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where I provided tailored support to help them engage with their education and develop social and life skills.

I have also worked with children experiencing mental health challenges and those on the autism spectrum, offering patient, consistent care and creating a safe, understanding space where they feel heard and supported. These roles have strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, and ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families. I am passionate about fostering inclusive environments where every child can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

My Qualifications

I have completed training in Safeguarding Children and Child Protection from Harm, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to identify, respond to, and report concerns appropriately. This training has reinforced my understanding of creating a safe, supportive environment for children and ensuring their well-being is always a top priority.

In addition to safeguarding, my hands-on experience working with children with SEND, autism, and mental health needs has deepened my awareness of best practices in care, communication, and behavior support. I am committed to continuous professional development and always aim to stay up-to-date with the latest guidelines and standards in childcare.
