About Me
I have several years of experience with children and young people, from babies through to teenagers. I have a PhD in history and have taught at universities, as well as provided tutoring in humanities subjects and English Language. I'm also retraining to be a counsellor, with a focus on working with young people.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for over 10 years, including for babies, kids, and young teens, and for children with disabilities or additional support needs. I used to work in public libraries providing literacy support to kids, and have also worked as a youth worker. I have also tutored on and off since my undergraduate degree, for everything from early literacy skills up to university-level essay support.
My Qualifications
I have a BA in Emglish and Linguistics, MLitt in History, and a PhD in History.
My Availability
I currently work M-Th 9-5 but am available outside these hours to offer a range of support, care, or education.
