About Me

With a strong academic background and extensive experience supporting students in Maths and English from primary through to GCSE level, I am confident in my ability to provide high quality tailored learning support.

As a tutor at Greenwich Tuition Centre and Spark Tutoring since June 2021, I have successfully mentored over 30 students, all of whom achieved at least a Grade 7 in their GCSEs and demonstrated significant progress in SATs. My approach combines patience, adaptability and a thorough understanding of different learning needs, including experience working with students with Autism and ADHD. I take particular pride in helping pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds build both academic skills and confidence in their abilities.

My own academic achievements, including an A* in A Level Mathematics and Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and English, reflect my strong subject knowledge. Furthermore, my role as a telephone fundraiser for Eltham College developed my ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with students and parents, a skill that proves invaluable in tutoring. Outside the classroom, I run the Your Finance Aid social media initiative, where I break down complex topics into engaging content, an approach I apply to make Maths and English more accessible and enjoyable for younger learners.
