My Experience

One-to-One Tutoring: I have experience tutoring children in Maths, English, and 11+ preparation, including verbal and non-verbal reasoning. I supported my younger brother through his 11+ exams, and he gained a place at Watford Boys Grammar School. I also tutor beginner piano, helping children build confidence and develop musical skills.
SEN Support: I have extensive experience working with children with ADHD and autism, understanding the unique challenges they face. My tutoring style is patient, adaptable, and focused on creating engaging lessons that match each child’s learning needs.
Teaching Assistant Work: I worked as a teaching assistant in a dance school, managing classes of children aged 3 to 12. I ensured lessons ran smoothly and kept children engaged and focused.
Commercial Awareness and Communication Skills: My professional experience includes roles at law firms and organisations like PepsiCo, where I developed strong communication skills, presentation abilities, and attention to detail. I bring these skills into my tutoring and childcare, helping children stay motivated and organised.
Creative and Personalised Approach: I adapt my teaching style to each child, using creative tools like background music, visual aids, and interactive tasks to make learning fun and accessible.
I am DBS-checked in the past and happy to apply for a new one if needed. I am fully Covid-19 vaccinated and available for daytime, evening, weekend, and emergency babysitting.

Piano (Grade 7): I teach beginner piano up to Grade 2 level.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

£12 per hour for babysitting with light tutoring support (e.g., homework help, educational activities).
£25–£30 per hour for specialist SEN support, 11+ tutoring, or combined babysitting and targeted learning (e.g., Maths/English sessions, piano basics, verbal reasoning).
