About Me
My name is Monika. I am 45 years old. I have been living in UK for the past 20 years and we recently moved to Levenshulme, Manchester. Throughout my working life I had different types of work, but for the most of the time I worked as nanny or babysitter through agency as well.
What I would say about myself... I have quite creative mind, I think. I enjoyed art and crafts. One of my hobbies is crocheting and knitting.(Old ladies hobby,as my partner would say.) But I learnt different techniques and you would be surprised how many things you can make, not just jumpers or blankets. I am happy to say that through my passion I got some of the children I did look after into too. I like outdoors and going for walks. Swimming,if there is a time and pool near by. I do enjoy gardening, but unfortunately in our new house we don't have a big garden... hopefully I will find the way around it..
My Experience
I have an experience working with children with special needs and challenging behaviour. I have worked with children various ages and different types of settings from schools to residential.
My Qualifications
I recently started my Level 2 Special Educational Needs and Disability Certificate under Basingstoke College of Technology
My Availability
I am quite flexible during the school holidays and weekends.
Throughout the school year I can work the mornings, afternoon and evening. Weekends if needed.
