My Summary

My Experience

I have worked regularly with a family caring for four children (including one who has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). My responsibilities included supervising play, helping with routines and providing a consistent, calm support tailored to the individual needs of the children. I have also volunteered at a local playgroup (one which I went to) that focuses (but not exclusively) on children with special educational needs and disabilities. In my voluntary role I assisted in engaging children in sensory activities during play-time and provided 1-2-1 attention regardless of whether the child was SEND or not. In both these roles I gained valuable experience in understanding and supporting neurodiverse and neurotypical children in both the home and learning environment.

My Qualifications

I hold a current DBS check and have experience working in a playgroup that specializes in supporting children with SEND needs. Additionally, I have worked closely with young and vulnerable adults and children who volunteered at the café where I was employed for 3 years.

My Availability

I am currently starting my gap year prior to going to University and therefor I am available at most times and can be flexible with any hours

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour

I have a minimum fee of £11 but would prefer rates upwards of that (however I am open and flexible to prices)
