About Me
I'm Ellie, and I have been registered with Ofsted through a childminder agency since February 2025. I will be the key person for mindees, with occasional assistance from my wife Mim who is also a registered childminder. We have lived in Braintree for five years, and have two cats called Eppie and Scally. Our setting is LGBTQ+ friendly, vegan friendly, with a focus on sustainability and we are passionate about nature-inspired, play-based learning.
My Experience
Although we are newly-registered and have no children of our own, there are a large number of children amongst our extended family and friends (ranging from 0-10 years), who bring so much joy to our lives, and we love spending time with them, and it is with them that our experience has so far been gained.

My Qualifications
I have completed online EYFS childminder training through my agency, as well as paediatric first aid and government Safeguarding training.
My Availability
Available Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. Immediate availability for ongoing private placements (0-5 years) and short-term holiday care (0-11 years). Expecting to offer funded placements from January 2026 onwards.
