About Me
Hi - my name is Emma, and I’m married to Ed and together we have 2 kids called Tara (8) and Jack (5), who love to paint and craft, play board games, pretend to be vets or to help me cook. I work for a pharmaceutical company (and have to be in London 2-3 days per week, and work from home the other days), and Ed works in insurance for a local company and has to be in the office nearly every day, which means we need some after-school help. We live in a small village, and as a family, tennis, swimming, animal and bird spotting. We have been renovating our house for the last year or so and we are still working on the garden!
My Requirements
We are somewhat flexible on days and hours, but ideally we’d like someone Tuesday-Thursday, around 2/3:30pm-6:30/7pm, and starting in early September. We also need someone, who has their own car and who would be happy to pick the kids up from school. Pay negotiable.
A typical afternoon would look like this: Pick up kids at 3:30/3:45, bring them home & do a bit of homework/music practice (if you are able to do a bit of tutoring this would be a bonus but not essential) or take them to an after school club & then home, cook them tea, get them into PJs and do some reading. On at least one of the days, kids can stay at school till 5pm, and on that day, job would entail some light chores (kids laundry & tidying) & meal prep before pick up.
