Free Room in Buckhurst Hill – In Exchange for Light Childcare Supervision
A lovely furnished room available in a quiet, friendly home in Buckhurst Hill (Zone 5) – rent-free – in exchange for a few hours a week of light, pre-agreed childcare supervision.
This is a relaxed setup that would suit a qualified childminder or someone with early years experience who’s looking to save on rent while living in a peaceful, well-connected area.
You’d need to be available at home (or with us on low-key outings) on:
• Tuesdays: 1pm–6pm
• Thursdays: 1pm–6pm
• Sundays: 9am–5pm
No active childcare duties required – just supervision during those hours. The rest of the time is entirely your own.
You’d be living with a 43-year-old single dad and, occasionally, his three-year-old son – a sweet, funny little boy with additional needs. The house is calm, friendly, and respectful.
We’re just a five-minute walk from Buckhurst Hill Station (Central Line) – around 25 minutes into Central London – and the local area is green, quiet, and full of nice spots to walk, relax or study.
