About Me
My name is Kara Penny, I am 25 years old.
I am one of seven siblings and have seven nieces and nephews.
I have been helping my family with babysitting for many years, the youngest person I have looked after is my sister when she was 4 years old.
I have spent the last 7 years helping my parents with my younger brother who is disabled and in need of 24/7 care.
I love all sorts of animals, and have always lived around pets, mostly dogs and cats.
I enjoy baking, especially cookies, biscuits, and cakes, and recently been trying my hand at bread making.
I also enjoy art and crafts, mostly painting and drawing, my little sister recently tried teaching me crochet, I am not very good at it, but I am getting better.
I am currently doing an independent study on bookkeeping, and am going to continue to do so for the next few years to gain my qualifications.
My Experience
My experience is mostly with my own family, younger siblings and nieces and nephews. I have been an aunt since I was 9 years old, and started babysitting since I was 14.
My younger brother is on several medications and I do regularly administer them to him.
I have worked in care for disabled young people, and have had some training in first aid (administering an epi-pen, what to do if someone has a seizure, and what to do should someone pass out ect.).
My Qualifications
I have no official qualifications, only my experience.
My Availability
I am available every day until 8pm, except Wednesdays where I can only work until 1pm, and cannot work Sundays.
