My Experience

I have over five years of childcare experience, working with children of all ages from toddlers to teens. From August 2021 - July 2025, I worked as an au pair in London, supporting a family with school runs, homework, meal prep, emotional care and bedtime routines. Before that, I babysat for multiple families, planning fun, age-appropriate activities like baking, crafts, reading, and outdoor play. I’ve also worked as a tutor for a 13-year-old student, helping with exam prep and academic confidence, and as a swimming teacher and coach for children aged 4–16. These roles have strengthened my patience, creativity, and ability to adapt to different children’s needs and personalities. I love working with kids and continue to offer babysitting alongside studying for Journalism because I find it genuinely rewarding and enjoyable.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying journalism, and I also hold a Level 3 qualification in English for Literacy and Language Teaching. Alongside my studies, I have extensive experience in childcare, having worked as a babysitter, au pair, tutor, and swimming teacher.

My Availability

I am available for ad hoc, short-term, and evening babysitting throughout August in Milton Keynes. I’m flexible with weekdays, weekends, daytime and evening hours. Whether you need regular help for a few weeks or just someone reliable for the occasional night out, I’d love to support your family during the summer.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My standard babysitting fee is £12–£15 per hour, depending on the number of children and the time of day (evening or weekend rates may vary). I am happy to discuss fixed rates for regular bookings or extended hours.
