About Me
Before I became a mother I worked as a veterinary surgeon and scientist, but decided after my son was born that I wanted to have a job where he could be with me. I started nannying for a friend almost by accident - she was looking for care for her child and I was able to help. They no longer need me as they are using their funded hours with a childminder so I'm looking for a new family to help. I am confident with young kids and am reliable, hard-working and kind. I follow a gentle parenting philosophy. Please note that my 20 month old son would be with me.
My Experience
As well as raising my own son, I've looked after a similar-aged child alongside him for the past few months. Before becoming a mother, my work involved teaching and mentoring school kids.
My Qualifications
I don't have any childcare-specific qualifications, but am a qualified vet and have a doctorate in virology.
My Availability
I am available immediately on an ad hoc or regular basis and would ideally work any two or three days a week between 8am and 6pm, though this is flexible.
