Full-Time Live-Out Au Pair (with Private Accommodation) – Wapping, East London

Start Date: Late October / Early November 2025
Duration: 11 months (until end of September 2026)

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Wapping, East London, seeking an experienced and caring full-time au pair to help us raise our daughter, who will be 14 months old when the role begins.

This is a unique live-out position with private accommodation provided in a beautifully renovated two-bedroom terrace house, located just a 2-minute walk from our home. The au pair will have a master bedroom and use of the entire home, with the second bedroom set up as a nursery/children’s room.



Role & Responsibilities
• Full-time care of our daughter (35–40 hours per week)
• Attend baby and toddler classes (e.g. swim, music, sensory play)
• Daily walks and outings (park, playdates, local activities)
• Light child-related housekeeping:
• Baby laundry
• Preparing her meals (solids)
• Cleaning up after meals and activities
• Occasional dog walking (our friendly family dog)



Schedule
• Monday to Friday, approx. 9:30am–5:30pm
• Some flexibility may be required; the schedule will be agreed upon two weeks in advance
• We may request infrequent babysitting, approximately once every month or two



Requirements
• Previous childcare experience with references
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Confident caring for a toddler
• Kind, proactive, responsible, and energetic
• Comfortable around dogs
• Non-smoker

About Us
