About Me
Hi my names Becca, my husband currently works in the military and can get deployed at long stints so it’s just my daughter at almost 2 yo, the dog and myself quite a bit.
I currently work in the ambulance service - 12 hour shifts which the occasional overrun.
I’m on an 11 week rolling Rota so know my shifts well in advance.
My daughter currently has a set day at nursery, in the hope of acquiring a 2nd one in August (25) but maximum they can be in a childcare setting is 10 hours which isn’t ideal when working minimum 12 hours. I want to continue the 12 hour shifts so I get more days off to spend with my family and it’s less days to sort out childcare.
We are a very outdoorsy family, hill walking/camping, promoting exercise. Luckily my daughter enjoys being outside as her nursery promotes this.
Also helps if you don’t mind a Cockapoo dog.
My Requirements
I’m basically looking for occasional nursery drop off when my shift starts at 7 so would be 06:15/06:30 start for a nursery at 7am.
The main requirement would be nursery pick up at 5pm and to look after her until I finish work at 7/8pm (with the flexibility if I’m over run), put her to sleep and snuggle the dog.
I do work night shifts as well so would be interested if you offer help with these, my daughter is in bed atm at 19:00 and that’s her right through luckily until 06:30/7am
These shifts start at 19:00/20:00. I do have a spare room for staying over.
Then it would be the watching her the following morning for a few hours whilst I get a couple of hours kip.
I’ve never had a nanny before and hoping this idea works so I can still go to work, as I actually enjoy my job. So will be trial and error to get it working right.
Feel free to reach out if you feel you could help in anyway, we might be able to arrange something.
