About Me
Our son Lev will be 1 in July, he’s a jolly little boy who loves walking, chatting, EATING, bicycles and ducks! Outside of this childcare, he will be cared for by his mom 2.5 days a week, and his dad 1-1/2 days a week, so there is no other external childcare.
We are Sarah, an American working in an environmental non-profit with an office in central Oxford, and Chris, a South African software engineer who works remotely. We’ve been living in Oxford for the past 5 years and plan to stay here — we love the town, and enjoy spending time outdoors in the many local parks with Lev.
My Requirements
We are looking for childcare 1-2 days per week starting in September 2025. We are flexible about which day of the week this will be. We live in the Grandpont area, and would like the caring to mostly take place in our home. Likely one or both of us will be working from home during the day, but there is ample space that we won’t be in each others’ way.
We are looking for a carer who is confident, responsive to Lev’s needs, and thoughtful in the play and care you engage in with Lev. We’d like to find someone with experience caring for very young children, who can gently and lovingly support his development and growing independence.
