About Me
We're a homeschooling family to our 8 year old daughter and we're based in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham. Seeking a bit of extra support to spend time with our daughter so that I can get other work projects done while she's being enriched and cared for. We don't have any family support so our plates are quite full! We're a Christian family and also seeking another Christian person who understands our values and child's needs, to step in as an extension of fellowship and relationship with our daughter and family. This would be a huge blessing for our family. We also have two dogs so the person we work alongside will need to be comfortable with dogs as they're a big part of our family.
My Requirements
This is flexible at the moment as we've never had help. What I'm hoping for is for someone to develop a bond with our daughter over time, someone she'll trust and enjoy spending time with while my husband and I take care of other responsibilities. A Mother's Helper is a good first step in slowly getting to know our daughter--she will be pretty comfortable with someone while I'm present to begin with but trusting someone to stay alone with will take her some time. Though she warms to people quickly and loves spending time with all ages, including her some of my friends and her friends' parents. Days and times are flexible, this depends on finding the right person first. It will likely be between 2-4 hours during weekdays, late morning and afternoon sometime. We can discuss this in more detail with the right candidates.
