Hello!
I am a first-class Psychology graduate with two years of experience working in the education sector as both a teacher and private tutor, specialising in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I hold a Level 1 and 2 safeguarding qualification, basic first aid training and an up-to-date DBS check.
I am currently looking for roles as a private tutor and babysitter. I look forward to the opportunity of utlising my experience, patience and passion to help children both academically and personally.
My Experience
I am a dedicated and experienced educator, currently working as a Year 9 SEN teacher, teaching a range of subjects across the curriculum, including Maths, Science and English. In this role, I tailor my teaching methods to support the diverse needs to the learners, whilst building strong rapport to create a safe, nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
Alongside my teaching role, I work as a private tutor supporting both GCSE and adult learners. I specialise in subjects, such as English Language, Religious Education, Psychology and Spanish. I create personalised resources to enhance the learning process and adapt the curriculum to suit each student's needs and goals.
Additionally, I have previously worked as a holiday club leader with children aged 6 to 14. This consisted of planning a range of fun, play-based activities, including arts and crafts, sports and team games to ensure an enjoyable and memorable holiday experience for all children.
I am passionate about creating positive learning and play environments where children feel supported, safe and valued. So, if you are looking for a reliable babysitter or a tutor, I would be delighted to help!
