About Me
I’m a responsible and friendly babysitter with personal and paid experience caring for children of all ages. I’ve looked after my nephew since he was a newborn changing nappies, preparing bottles, and supporting his development as well as helping with my younger brother. I’ve also worked with children aged 5–16 through paid youth work, which has strengthened my ability to connect with young people and keep them engaged. I’m available for school drop-offs and pick-ups, fun activities, and overnight care, and I always aim to create a warm and supportive environment for the children I look after. I genuinely enjoy working with young people and always bring patience, energy, and care to every role which is why I think I’d be a great choice for your family!
My Experience
I have two summers’ experience working with young people, including those with special needs, supporting them through a variety of fun and engaging activities. I’ve been trusted with the responsibility of leading groups on external trips, always making sure the children are safe, occupied, and having a great day. These sessions have ranged from as early as 9am to as late as 5pm, giving me solid experience in managing children throughout a full day. I’m passionate about creating positive experiences and building strong connections with the young people I work with.
My Qualifications
I have completed a 3-hour safeguarding training session as part of my previous work with children, which gave me a solid understanding of how to keep young people safe and supported. While I’m still building my formal qualifications, I bring hands-on experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.
My Availability
As I have recently finished my A Level exams, my summer has already begun, meaning I have full availability onwards.
