Part-Time Qualified Teacher & Nanny Needed for Home-Based Support

We are looking for a fully qualified teacher (minimum PGCE or QTS) who is either currently teaching or has recently stepped away from teaching, to provide part-time educational and childcare support for our daughter. This role combines one-to-one teaching for a home educated child across subjects in KS1, with light childcare duties, including driving to scheduled activities.

Details:
Schedule: 2–3 days per week / 4-5 hours each day (flexible days and hours)

Role includes:

Covering all core areas of the curriculum in a structured, engaging way

Supervising and caring for our daughter during work hours. Play based learning

Driving her to and from extracurricular activities (a car and valid license are essential)

Location: Southgate area

Start date: Flexible – we're happy to work around availability

Ideal Candidate:
Holds a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification

Has recent or current experience in teaching

Is nurturing, patient, organised, and confident supporting one-on-one learning for a home educated child

Owns a reliable car and has a full driving licence

Is flexible with scheduling and responsive to a family-based environment
