Hi parents & caregivers. I’m Elise, a warm, friendly and dependable childcare professional with over 10 years of experience, including live in nanny roles with two wonderful families.
Looking after children isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I truly love. I’ve cared for little ones from toddlers to school age, and I take pride in building real connections with the children I look after. Whether I’m helping a 2 year old explore the world through play, or supporting an 8 year old with schoolwork and confidence, I always bring patience, energy and a genuine sense of care to every day.
I currently work as an Exec Assistant for a children’s charity so am highly organised and proactive and looking for evening/ weekend shifts to fit alongside this. I can drive and am also First Aid trained, great under pressure, and happy to help with light household duties or pet care if needed. Families often say I bring calm, positivity and a sense of reliability to their home, and I always aim to leave things a little easier and brighter than I found them.

My Experience
I have previously worked as a live in nanny in both the UK and later Canada, where I supported families with children aged 2 & 4, and later 6 & 8, handling everything from morning routines and school runs to dinner, story time and winding down after busy days. I know how important it is to be someone parents can trust, and someone children enjoy being around. I also have over 10 years of babysitting experience and have worked as a teaching assistant in an SEN school. I also have spent 3 summers working as a Camp Counselor in the USA taking kids on hiking trips around New Hampshire!
My Qualifications
I have a degree in English lit, and recently pursued a counselling qualification in Therapeutic Skills. I am also a certified TEFL teacher.
