My Experience

My previous employment was a Nanny to a family of three children between the ages of 15 months and 7 years old. Coordinating day trips to local parks, beaches and activity centres. Safe transportation to extra curricular activities. Enthusiasm and creativity in imaginary play and child led discovery of the outdoors.

Whilst living in New Zealand I worked as a Facilitator for a holiday programme for children aged 5 – 11 years old. My work involved planning day activities around nature play, sport, cooking and art. Having to engage and enthuse a big group of children, all with different interests, required me to think creatively and on my feet, responding to the group as the day progressed and ensuring a positive learning environment was created.

I am efficient, organised and professional, having worked as a Special Events Manager at the NSPCC, a UK children's charity. Within the role I worked at WOMAD Festival, at the Childline tent within the World of Children. This saw me lead a team of volunteers on a tent which provided games, face painting and activities for children and their families.
