I’m Michelle a little shy but a very friendly down to earth loving caring person I am soft natured and easy going. I found my vocation is working with children it is where I am happiest. I am regiestered to offer the free funnded places to eleigble 2 year olds and all 3-4 year olds I am also regiestered with northampton college to provide care for students.
I am offering a warm caring environment for your children to thrive in, we would love for yourself and your child/ children to come and join us. Children in my care benefit from lots of one to one time, outings to toddler groups, farms, parks etc as well as a range of activities in my home. I have a selection of indoor and outdoor toys for all ages and regularly use the toy library to rotate toys which will stimulate your child and give them new learning opportunities so they can develop new skills and reach their full potential your child will always come home with a smile.
My Experience
I have been working as a childminder since 2008 and have taken care of all ages from 4 months and over, I feel it is very important to work with parents especially in the early stages when the first few days and weeks are so crucial to settling in I know how upsetting this can be for both parents and baby/child, so I am very flexible and happy to offer a setting routine that suits each family, I have looked after a number of babys who I have taken care of until starting school and have then had brothers and sisters, this is a big compliment knowing that parents feel that they can come back to me again.

My aim is to offer your child good quality care and learning experiences through play I regularly up date my knowledge and have the following certificates.

Introduction to childcare practice (home based level 3)
First aid
CRB
Ofsted registration
Action kids course 1
Action kids course 2
Action kids course 121
Children with additional needs course (I have firsthand experience in caring for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder ODD)
And I have just completed the NVQ level 3 in children care learning and development 9/5/11

1 x full time / term time car immediate start
1 x Term time only care available from September 2024 for 1 and 2 year olds

Met with Michelle last week as needed holiday care for my daughter. Very nice lady, made me feel very at ease and she was very easy to get on with. Suffice to say my daughter will be starting with Michelle this Feb as she was by far the best and nicest childminder we had met with! :)

My son went to Michelle's for 2 years and had to reluctantly with draw him as I was made redundant while he was going there he loved it spoke about Michelle all the time told me what they did on a day to day basis and how he enjoyed him self even 2 years into going lol he was very say to leave there but I have promised play dates and he was reassured he will see Michelle again
Michelle her self was a gods send to us as she was very happy to work around my working hours an happy to take my son after coming out Of hospital with a broken leg she is a very nice lady an very reliable I would HIGHLY recommend here to any one looking for a childminder.
When I find a new job I will be contacting Michelle again to see if she as any spaces :)

Michelle literally saved our lives when I had to go back to work after maternity leave. As my husband works odd and irregular shifts not very many childminders would even consider my daughter because we couldn't offer regular hours. Michelle is very caring, warm and professional and very understanding of lifes little mishaps (like booking her for no reason at all and not realising until my little girl was supposed to be getting dropped off!)
I cannot recommed her enough - I am happy that Amelia is getting the best care possible when she is with Michelle (and as I can be some what over protective that is saying a lot lol).
Don't want to sound too soppy but I feel I've made a new friend as well as found the best possible care for my daughter whilst I am at work, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services

Emma thats lovely I am so pleased you feel that way as thats excatly how I like my clients to feel and I too feel the same and hope to have many more months / years getting to know you and family.
My 4 1/2 year old son has only been going to Michelle's for a month, but he loves it there! He only goes 3 days a week, after school, but asks most days if he can go to Michelle's!!
He has a great time playing with her son and the other children that are there. The most important thing for any parent looking for a childminder is that their child is happy with them, and my son certainly is! I couldn't ask for anything more! Thank you Michelle!

Michelle is a great childminder ! my children have a great time when they are in michelle care they are always coming home with things they have made and say that they have had a great time , so i know that i can walk away happy knowing and trusting that my children are in the best care possible,michelle loves her job u can see that by how good she is with children .michelle encourges healthy eating ,michelle is also very good at talking to children and getting them to understand things in away they can understand . there is so much i ca'nt fit it all into words but just to say a big thank u x

When I moved to Northampton to study nursing I need a childminder for my 4 year old son who would be reliable , flexible and make my son feel secure and at home, and this is what Michelle provided for us. My son was always happy to go to Michelle and he still visits to play with her son sometimes. I can highly recommend Michelle , she is confident and experienced with children of all ages. I always found her to be both friendly and professional.
