About Me
Hiya, I'm currently working as a carer for adults at risk and training to become an art teacher. Children are my passion. I have a DBS and am trained in first aid, I also have a car and am covered for business insurance.
My Experience
My current job is a support worker (i do home centred care for adults at risk), this includes washing/bathing them, changing their clothes, changing pads/nappies, cooking each meal of the day, doing activities with them, cleaning the house and handling medication.
My experience, with children specifically, is limited to volunteer work but I have enjoyed every second of it.
I used to coach a primary school netball team. I was a youth worker for a few years. I did about a weeks experience in a primary school. I currently help out at the art group for the local secondary school.
I do also have a much younger sister (14 years younger) and so I do feel I have some understanding of taking care of children.
My Qualifications
BA - Artist Designer Maker Glass and Ceramics
Diploma L3 - Art and Design
GSCES - Maths, English, Science, Ceramics, History, Health and social care
My Availability
My schedule for week 1 and week 2 is different because I currently work part time.
Week beginning 07/07/25 I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Week beginning 14/07/25 I work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I will put down any availability I would have on my busier week which is week 2. However please recognise that this may change depending on the week.
