My Experience

I am a 20-year-old Biomedical Science student in Oxford and have looked after family members, children of my Godparents and family friends, in my local community within Southampton where I grew up during my teen years, and have also worked with early years children with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) with limited mobility and motor difficulties as part of my first exposure to a working environment, improving my positive verbal and non-verbal communication skills which are key to identifying a child's energy queues or indicators to their needs during play, and daily energy expenditure when baby sitting.

Since then, I have worked in customer-facing roles in luxury and high-street retail, fostering adaptability to a client's individual needs with geniality, a high level of fine-tuned attention to detail, and ability to maintain cleanliness across environments combined with my continual growing experience with COSHH compliance, learnt from my Undergraduate degree which are qualities and experience important for ensuring children are under watchful, assiduous care away from harm.
