Hello! I’m Isla and would describe myself as reliable, patient, fair, forward thinking and fun! I have worked with children for my entire professional life, and am keen to help encourage children to become the best versions of themselves.
I am very happy to help with evening and weekend babysitting and childminding, but would also be flexible around my day job schedule to help out if necessary. I am an outgoing and reliable person who enjoys working with children to make them feel happy and safe.
My Experience
I have over 13 years of childcare experience, majority of which is with children with special educational needs (SEN). I have worked as a personal assistant to children with complex needs, including personal care and medical requirements. I am first aid trained, have a DBS certificate and am happy to look after children of all ages. I have worked in early years settings, after school clubs and privately in the home with children and their families. I also have a nephew and a niece whom I look after regularly! They are both under 5 and full of fun. I would be happy to provide full references on request, and would be keen to meet the family ahead of any scheduled childcare.
My Qualifications
First Aid trained, Epilepsy trained. Familiar with range of SEN and ND needs. I have completely annual safeguarding training every year for the past 13 years. DBS Check
My Availability
I do work a 35 hour week, but can arrange my hours flexibly if required.
