My Summary

My Experience

I was an au pair to an 18 month old girl from Czech. I taught her English and potty trained her. I stayed with the family for 2 years going part time whilst the little girl went part time to nursery. I studied a nail technician course. I then went on to work temporarily in Cyprus as a full time creche assistant. Setting up the crèche daily with fun and educational activities suitable from babies to 4 year olds, also making sure the crèche area was safe and well looked after.

I then moved in with a Lebanese family as a nanny/tutor to an 8 year old girl, 3 year old boy and a new born baby boy.

After that I moved to Spain to work as an English tutor for the summer to a class of 10 children from the ages of 3 up until 15. I taught English lessons in the morning, helped to prepare lunch in the afternoons. We then had afternoon class outside by the swimming pool using outdoor activities, sports and word games. I had an evening class teaching English to adults. I used baking, cooking, bike rides, day trips, shopping trips and cleaning to help with the English. We had a weekly timetable full of fun learning activities ie learning and singing songs, attending class in daily colours. I also planned and set up several children's birthday parties whilst out in Spain.

After the summer, I returned to the UK to work as a full time nanny with the same Czech family as before to twin baby boys and a 4 year old girl. The mother worked away from home a lot so it was completely sole charge. This was a live in and live out position. Waking up with the children, bathing, dressing, breakfast, preparing feeds, washing and sterilising bottles, dressing. Taking the 4 year old girl to pre school, keeping the twins entertained and well looked after. Collecting the 4 year old from school, preparing a healthy dinner for example pasta and salad, chicken and vegetable bake with yoghurt and fresh fruit for desert.then helping with her homework, bath time, bedtime story cuddles and bed.

Since moving to London in March 2012, I have been a full time live in and live out nanny to two children aged 2 years and 3 and a half month old. Breakfasts, dressing the children, planning and organising fun and exciting activities. Daily outdoors time i.e to the playground, a run on the grass or a long walk.
Lunchtimes, nap time, afternoon play. Afternoon play, dinner, bath, story, milk time and bed.
I have now moved back to Reading. I have been a ESL teacher part time.

I am a mum to two boys aged 4 and 3 who both attend school 8 till 4 wed thurs and fri.
