About Me
I have been childminding for 17 years and believe that children learn through play whilst in a safe and secure environment and this is what I’ve installed within my setting.
I live at home with my husband & 2 grown up children, all have DBS checks.
I also work with my daughter as my assistant who has been checked with Ofsted and has the appropriate documents required.
I am able to accept all funding from 9 months -4years
Daily activities include messy play, arts & crafts, sand/water play as well out trips out.
These can include toddler groups, soft play, farms, libraries and parks to name a few.
By having a wide range of activities this helps cover all areas of the EYFS and to meet all the children’s individual needs.
I also liaise with parents to contribute information towards their child’s next steps.
Daily diaries & photos of your children at lunchtime/end of the day throughWhatsApp.
I update and attend new training-continually to keep up with the recent changes. This is how I keep my setting at a good standard.

We had a great experience taking our 1 year old daughter to Taras childcare. We needed care for the day and wanted to find someone with experience and great reviews due to us traveling to a different city for the day and being anxious about someone we didn't know. Felt completely at ease straight away and the house is lovely with lots for kids/toddlers to do. Rhey was very happy as we left and as we came back at the end of the day too. Highly recommend.

Tara is excellent. Not only did she help my little one, but she helped me too when I was anxious about certain things. Tara is friendly, kind and caring. You can tell she loves what she does. Thank you for everything.

My son absolutely adores Tara and her family. She is very welcoming and friendly to parents and children. My son loved going to tara’s and doing a wide variety of activities, playgroup, farms etc. like he was part of the family. He still now talks and calls for Tara. Her setting was great and was lovely receiving pictures of what my son did each day as well as arts and crafts that they did. Also very communicative with parents. Lovely family and great childminder!

Tara has been looking after my son since he was 8 months old and he is now 3. Since then she has always provided a warm and safe environment for him and has done a great job in looking after him. He is always happy to go in the morning and enjoys the groups they attend and the activities she provides. I’m always confident and happy knowing he is well looked after while I’m at work.

My daughter was with Tara from June 2020 to March 2021 three days a week.
My daughter was a very shy little girl however settled into Tara’s quickly and was always excited to go there.
Tara carries out fun activities and often My daughter will bring home her little creations.
Unfortunately due to us moving address, Tara’s is now to far to travel and therefore we have had to place My daughter into another setting. My daughter will definitely miss going to Tara’s.

Tara has been a fantastic support to my son since he joined her care. He has come on leaps and bounds through her guidance and support over the last two years and he will miss being in her care each day! Tara provides structure, routine and excellent learning support, meaning he is now ready to move onto school! I won’t hesitate to recommend her care to anyone who needs a childminder!

Tara has looked after both my boys since they were 6 months old, the eldest being 7 now. Being a full time working mum I went to work every day knowing my children were in the best care. Not only did my children have the best time with Tara where they went to toddler groups, play dates, the park, the library, the farm to name a few they were loved and that's all I could have ever asked for.
Tara went above and beyond in all aspects of looking after my children and I would a million percent recommend her services to everyone. Not only do my children love her but my husband and I couldn't have wished, and hoped for someone better to help bring our children up.
Tara will be a life long friend, she is an extremely special person to us and we can't thank her enough for the fantastic start she gave our children. They are both brilliant, bright, well mannered boys and Tara has played a huge role in that.
From the moment I met Tara I knew she was the lady I wanted in my children's life. She was warm and friendly and my boys settled in her setting straight away.
I couldn't recommend Tara's Childminding enough, she loves the children she looks after and they love her in return. The bond she forms with them is so special.
I am lost without her already.

Tara has all 3 of my children. I moved my children from another local childminder as I wasn’t happy with the care they were receiving. A friend of mine recommended Tara to me and I haven’t looked back ever since.
My husband and I went to visit Tara and knew instantly my children would benefit from being in her care.
Communication for me is very important, knowing what my children get up to and what they do on a daily basis. We have a journal that Tara writes in everyday and puts photos of my children in to show me what they have been up to. I also get photos sent to my phone throughout the day which puts a smile on my face because I can see how much fun my daughter is having.
My youngest daughter was under the child development centre as she was experiencing learning difficulties and SLT. Tara took on board all what was advised by the specialists and helped in my daughters progress. My son needed extra support in learning and Tara would work with him everyday to support him she would even give him homework that he could do at home.
As my husband and I both work full time, Tara has supported us by sometimes having our children on days and times that wasn’t in our contract and this has been a great help to us as we do not have much family support.
Tara’s childcare has been fantastic for all my 3 children and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and friends and family into her care.
