Smiley Happy Monkeys Childcare :)
I am a mother to four young children aged 13, 10, 8, and 6. I devote my life to my children and as such have registered as a Childminder so I can enjoy all the children offer. I enjoy books and reading, doing craft with the children, outdoor play, singing and dancing. I also have two lovely cats who are friendly towards children and have free access to outside.
As Smiley Happy Monkeys I am Ofsted approved and first aid trained. I have a warm welcoming home and large garden for the children to enjoy with a wide range of toys and resources. I provide plenty of one on one time as well as allowing and encouraging the children to play independently, explore the world around them and learn new skills.
I work with two assistants who are also DBS and Ofsted approved with paediatric first aid training. Together we look after 9 under 5 year olds allowing the children to develop friendships and core socialising skills.

Hazel looked after my daughter from the age of seven months until she was three. I felt so safe and happy leaving her in Hazel's care and she loved her time with Hazel - so much so that I still kept her one "Hazel day" a week even when she started pre-school! During some of this time Hazel also had my older daughter after school and was very flexible with our pick-up arrangements. Finding an exceptional childminder helps 100% with the work-life-family balance and I couldn't have achieved this without Hazel.

Hazel has been looking after my daughter from the age of 13 months to 2 and half, and my son (age 4/5) after school. They have both always loved going to her house so going back to work was made much easier as I knew they were happy and well cared for in a lovely, family environment. As well as providing a loving, welcoming setting, Hazel does lots of craft and baking and outdoor play, and has every toy a child could ever wish for! She has also always been very flexible and accommodating and is open and communicative, providing lots of feedback on the children's time with her. In short, Hazel has been invaluable to our family and is highly recommended.

Hazel has looked after my daughter for 4 months, covering the period of my return to work after maternity leave and my decision to quit to be a stay at home Mum. Having to be away from my little one during this time has been made so much easier knowing that she is happy and settled in Hazel's care. Hazel has been superb - always understanding, and warm and affectionate towards my daughter. The children engage in a range of activities to encourage different skills, and good manners and behaviour are gently encouraged. Knowing that Hazel is a trained nurse has also been very reassuring. She is brilliant about keeping me up to date about how my little one's been during the day, and what she's been up to. In short - Hazel has been brilliant and is very highly recommended!
