About Me
My own children, 3 girls are all in their twenties now and following their own careers.
I love looking after children, it has been my life's work, I have written a little something below, I hope this gives an insight into my approach and philosophies.
I have an OUTSTANDING OFSTED report and personal and professional references, these are available on request.
My previous and current parents are happy to talk personally to perspective parents.
I always endeavour to be as flexible and supportive as possible.

My Experience
I am an ofsted graded OUTSTANDING childminder
My husband and I owned and ran a nursing home for many years.
My whole life I have been surrounded by children, I have always had a close affinity with babies and children of all ages, devoting so much time and focus on providing a warm, loving, nurturing environment.
Although I follow the EYFS I offer so much more. Rose Cottage being a very old property and my home of over 30 years provides a beautiful back drop and a haven for all, harvesting apples, plums, pears and blackberries, watching the buzzard circling over head, birds nesting in the ivy or nest boxes and sheep grazing in the back paddock, playing in the south facing very safe garden with a shed full of outdoor toys and sand pit, building dens and leaving messages for the fairies. Baking our own scones, churning our own butter, tucking in and remembering our table manners! Meal times are happy and fun. Story time or a nap in teddy corner, baby yoga in the dedicated yoga room, a walk to the park, visit to the library or the local playgroup, the opportunities for physical, intellectual, emotional and social development are endless. I am devoted to the children in my care, I play Mozart, Debussy, Bach, Tchaikovsky or Classic fm throughout the day, incorporating a daily combination of numeracy, literacy, music, conversation, art, animals and nature, through meaningful experiences, love and nurture the children in my care thrive.
