My Experience

i have previously worked with children with special needs which was volunteer work from the young age of 14. i have been working with children for several years and enjoy and thrive at the role of a child carer.

I have worked with all ages of children from newborn to five years and above.
As a child carer i have a great knowledge of the EYFS and how to enforce it in everyday activities whether is messy play to just exploring out in the garden or the park.

i enjoy doing activities with children and observing their growth and learning development of that child achieving their goals.

I have have nanny experience of sole charge with twins from age of 6 and are now 9 one of whom have learning difficulties and anxiety. In the daily role I'll prepare the children for school and what they need to take In with them. Shall tidy the house hold and nursery duties of washing and preparing the children's meal to a nutritional value and of course to what they like. I'll take and collect to clubs and arrange play dates for them with friends. I have a great communication with the other parents and the teachers so can see what need to work towards aswell as fun.

With the SENCO needs of one of the children it includes being very calm and patient and struggles with transition and to make everyday routine fun and interesting in the art of distraction.
